Popis: | The Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network first published guidelines on the indications for tonsillectomy for sore throats in adults and children in 1999. These guidelines highlighted the importance of reserving the operation for those who are severely affected by recurrent sore throats and by applying the Paradise criteria. This study aimed to determine if the guidelines have been adopted by general practitioners. |
