Popis: | A study was presented of the endothelial supporting function of platelets, along with electron micrographs of ultrathin sections of capillaries in the dermis from patients with thrombocytopenic complicating diseases following massive platelet transfusions. The data measuring changes in hemostatic mechanisms following the transfusions are included. Many probable platelets were seen in the process of incorporation into the endothelial cytoplasm. |
