Popis: This project represents the design and analysis of Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (CDRA) for 5G applications. CDRA’s are used for 5G communications of large bandwidth in Terahertz ranges. The channel capacity can achieve a very high data rate. The cylindrical resonator antenna operating in Hybrid Electromagnetic Mode (HEM110). The proposed antenna is accomplished with frequency ranges 3-5GHz. The CDRA material is made by alumina ceramic and the resonant frequency is about 4GHz. The CDRA is excited by micro strip line. CDRA is coupled electromagnetically by this micro strip line and below the substrate. Because of annealed alumina there is no radiation or exceptionally less radiation underneath the substrate all the radiation is top of the CDRA. The proposed antenna is simulated using ANSYS HFSS software and the designed antenna will operate for 5G applications and it can be considered for massive MIMO antenna array configurations.
