Popis: | Children with pulmonary arterial hypertension undergoing anesthesia pose a challenge. The prevalence of morbidity and mortality in this subgroup is substantially greater than that in the general population. In this article, we attempt to describe the adverse events that occur and also identify some of the factors that may precipitate them. We also suggest mechanisms to attenuate or prevent these crises. |
