Popis: Endovascular embolization is performed to treat various vascular diseases including hemorrhage, aneurysms, and vascular malformations. In article number 2003327, Rahmi Oklu, Ali Khademhosseini, and co‐workers report a tantalum microparticle‐loaded shear‐thinning gel embolic material (Ta‐GEM) that can be rapidly delivered into diseased arteries using clinical catheters to achieve rapid hemostasis. The cover image shows the swine pelvic vasculature, with both iliac arteries demonstrating vascular hemorrhage. The left side is successfully occluded using the gel embolic material (GEM), whereas the right side received coil embolization (the standard treatment today) where blood continues to bleed through the coils.
