Popis: Inmunization programs have reduced the morbidity and mortality from some infectious diseases. Vacci-nes prepared from live attenuated or from killed micro-organisms may both cause neurological syndromes(encephalopa thy/encephalitis, myelitis, neuritis and cranial neuropathies) by direct infection of the nervous syste'm(Rubella, Measles, Trivalent oral Poliovirus and Mumps) or by means of inmuneallergic reactions (Pertussis andInfluenza). This review delineates the neurological complications of some vaccines that are used routinely in Chile.(Key H>ords: Vaccines. Neurological Complications)
