Popis: | Thrombosis at the site of coronary angioplasty is responsible for abrupt occlusion after angioplasty 1,2 . The thrombotic process may also promote the excessive myointimal proliferation that leads to restenosis 3,4 . To assess whether a thrombolytic agent would ameliorate these consequences of thrombosis at the site of dilatation, we evaluated the early and late outcomes of urokinase therapy before routine angioplasty. |
