Popis: | WE would like to report two unusual outbreaks of skin lesions in sheep resembling ‘strawberry footrot’. The vast majority of lesions were located above the coronet and/or on the skin between coronet and carpus/tarsus. Lesions initially presented as a crusty swelling that burst to leave a granulomatous, purulent surface that was prone to bleeding (Fig 1). Lesions were very sensitive to the touch, with some swelling of the surrounding tissue and severe lameness of the affected limb.
