Popis: | 1. The osmotic resistance of erythrocytes of a frog Rana esculenta L. and a newt Triturus alpestris (Laur.) to hypotonic solutions ranging from 0.9 to 0.025% NaCl was examined after incubation in colchicine. 2. Colchicine was used in a concentration range from 4 × 10−5 mM to 5 mM. 3. In comparison with the control experiments, the total degree of swelling and osmotic resistance of the erythrocytes of both species was higher after incubation in colchicine. |
