| Popis: | In a 1 year prospective survey of the safety and economy of re-used plastic insulin syringes 9843 syringes were used 93,867 times with one possible injection site infection. On average syringes were used 5.7 days before changing. Re-use of plastic syringes would produce an annual saving of about l15 per patient when compared with glass syringes. |
