Our aim in this review will be to identify and assess the effects of educational strategies that have been used to train healthcare professionals to work in the role of organ and tissue donation coordinators (OTDCs = healthcare professionals that manage organ donation cases, speak with families about organ donation, support them throughout the process, communicate with ICU teams, organ donation organizations and transplant teams). Our findings will be used to support the development of new educational strategies for Canadian OTDCs. |
