The COVID-19 pandemic put society through a number of challenges. One of them was that of overcoming the short-term and long-term consequences of the disease. One can learn to live with some of those, while others can cause a reduced quality of life and can necessitate a continuous struggle to overcome them – an intention that will not always come to fruition. The goal of this research is to present some psychosomatic changes that have occurred after coronavirus recovery and to what degree they affect he patient’s everyday life. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic has had serious consequences to our health. The conclusions drawn from this study are related to the need for programme creation and strategy development for physical and mental health change prevention in patients, as well as for additional research related to the disease in order further clarify its consequences. |
