Popis: The project is designed to develop a density based dynamic traffic signal system. The signal timing changes automatically on sensing the traffic density at the junction. Traffic congestion is a severe problem in many major cities across the world and it has become a nightmare for the commuters in these cities. The main objective of the project is to dynamically optimizing and controlling the traffic signals. In this project the signal timing is allocated based on the vehicle density which is a measure done by IR Sensor module. According to the present density the Timing cycle is manipulated. Also it has a provision for Emergency vehicles and VIP vehicles. These vehicles will have a RFID Tag similar to a Fastag, by sensing the particular lane will change to green and all the other lanes are kept red. The cycle is in anti-clockwise but the timing is dynamically modified. Also we have provided solutions for pedestrian crossing in this project. The most significant part of the project is all thus actions are linked to the IoT channel and it can also be manually operated through this channel. Controller used here is PIC Microcontroller and ESP8266 module for IoT synchronization.
