Popis:	Qualitative research aims to understand and describe subjective experiences and perceptions. Qualitative and mixed-methods research, in which quantitative and qualitative research methods are combined, is playing an increasingly bigger role in vascular surgery research. The aim of this review was to describe the fundamentals of qualitative research methods and its application in vascular surgery.
