One paratype from Santa Catharina: Nova Teutonia was collected in wilted leaf Caporeira [sic] (Ślipiński & Tomaszewska 2010). Caporeira (Portuguese) means a place with poor herbaceous and shrubby vegetation after the forest was logged, and not a name of a plant species. Note 2. Due to its presence in Santa Catarina (Ślipiński & Tomaszewska 2010), T. plaumanni is probably distributed also in Ro Grande do Sul (Brazil), as well as in Uruguay, due to its nearness and similarity with the province of Entre Ros and Buenos Aires. Note 3. The larval and pupal morphology of T. plaumanni remain undescribed.
