Popis:	In this issue of Cell Stem Cell, Hallett et al. demonstrate the therapeutic potential of human biliary epithelial cells (hBECs) purified from discarded donor livers in a murine model of biliary disease. hBEC transplantation helped to reduce injury and repaired biliary architecture, suggesting its clinical potential for chronic liver diseases.
