Popis: | Mammography of the male breast accounts for less than 1% of mammographic examinations done in breast imaging centers [1]. The purpose of this pictorial essay is to familiarize readers with diseases of the male breast and their mammographic manifestations that were observed during a 40-month period at the VA Medical Center, West Los Angeles. The most common presenting signs and symptoms that lead to a request for a mammograph in these men included an enlarging breast, a palpable lump, and breast tenderness. |
