Popis: | This paper studies suitability of two polarimetric diffuse scattering models of electromagnetic fields at 28 GHz from a facade of a modern shopping center. The models are integrated into our in-house ray-based wave propagation simulation tool. Parameter values of the scattering models are estimated in reference to polarimetric channel sounding at the same site. We found that Lambertian model represents the measured scattering better than SLD model as the facade elements are made of heterogeneous materials and non-uniformly oriented, leading to backscattering equally strong as forward scattering. The parameter values giving the best fit of the scattering models to measurements are in line with the previously reported values in the literature for below-6GHz RF. |
