Popis: | Synaptic contacts were found between dopaminergic neurons and substance P (SP)-immunoreactive axon terminals in the ventral tegmental area (VTA), by means of the immunoelectron microscopic mirror method. SP-immunoreactive terminals were found to make synaptic contact with VTA neurons exhibiting tyrosine hydroxylase immunoreactivity. |
