Interrogation of Oncomine{trade mark, serif} (https://www.oncomine.org/) showed higher expression of eIF4E and eIF5 in breast (top panel) and lung cancer (bottom panel) compared to normal tissue. When these biomarkers were compared for gender, eIF4E and eIF5 expression was proportionately higher in male breast cancer (A, C) but not in lung cancer (B, D), respectively . |
