The systematic prospection of the Corbones River, tributary of the Guadalquivir, has permitted us to know, on one hand, that during the Medium and Superior Pleistocene, human specimens intensely traversed its shores, leaving a considerable quantity of evidences from its source to its mouth. Here, we put foward a series of temporary settlements, in open arcas near the escarpments of the valley, on quarries of prime material where stone tools were shaped and produced a wide variety of them whose characteristics we hereby present and that, with few variants, were no more than a continuation of what they liad been doing some hundreds of thousands of years back.
