A remote GSM SMS system of on-line-measuring insulator leakage current was designed and produced, the composition and the theory of which were described. The designation methods of the monitoring unit and the expert software were outlined in details. The results showed that the leakage current of running insulators varied largely with associated factors varying slightly, the relation between the leakage current and the humidity was obvious, and that the accumulated contamination of insulators was determined by the variation tendency of leakage current. The expert software can intelligently estimate the contamination status of insulators by the leakage current, the pulse current and the humidity etc., draw the current and the humidity figure with time, determine the deadline of clearing of insulators. The problem whether the insulators are required clearing was solved successfully. (5 pages) |
