Popis: This paper focuses on a theoretical and epistemological approach to Working Life Learning, Adult Education, Workers’ Training and Lifelong Learning. On the one hand we define a conceptualization of worker training, training throughout life and lifelong learning. On the other hand we approach Working Life Learning from the perspective of Adult Education as the paradigm that should form the backbone of these educational processes. It also tries to analyse whether it is possible to develop an educational process (from all perspectives, personal and professional) within the field of companies, of VET programmes, and workers training programmes or whether, on the contrary, we can only aspire to processes of instrumental education or training. Workers’ Training here is taken to mean the educational processes that involve a transformation in both the personal and professional development in these individuals from multiple perspectives. Here we can also include the training processes aimed at developing certain skills related to job performance as well as workers’ awareness of problematic aspects within their work environment.
