This text aims to present a reflection on online teaching based on the historical-cultural and Developmental Teaching approaches. The online teaching course was used as the empirical field of research. The need to reflect on pedagogical processes in distance education was the starting point for this investigation. Methodologically, the didactic foundations of Developmental Teaching supported by Vasily Vasilovich Davydov were used for the creation of the online teaching course, and the theoretical foundations of the Historical-Cultural Theory for the discussion and analysis of data. Although studies on pedagogical work have advanced in the Historical-Cultural Theory, Developmental Teaching still has a structuralist focus that can limit the teacher's performance. It is concluded that teaching work can be structuralist in the pedagogical thinking of Developmental Teaching, and the possibility of resorting to another critical base of Pedagogy is presented as a research contribution to the field of Education. |
