Popis:	A facile aerosol-based method for the synthesis of pure and stable amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) is presented. The method relies on the instantaneous carbonation of calcium hydroxide aerosols with carbon dioxide followed by rapid drying of the freshly formed ACC.
