3D reconstruction of the G2 nuclear reactor of CEA Marcoule using muography images

Popis: The files provide data to reconstruct 2D muography images and 3D density maps of the G2 nuclear reactor located at CEA-Marcoule. 1) Muography images 9 files are provided (*muography.C), corresponding to 9 images taken from different positions around and under the reactor. These files can be run using the ROOT package, or pixels values can be directly read from these files. Theimages show the number of reconstructed muons recorded in each position, normalized by an open-sky Monte Carlo simulation 2) 3D density maps 5 .root files containing the 3D density maps of the G2 reactor are provided, depending on the configuration used (number of projections, time of data taking, binning of data, etc.). As an exemple, theg2slice_figure3.C file (to be executed with ROOT) displays a slice of this density map An additional, similar .root file is given with the macrog2slice_figure4.C, which displays slices at different heights along the reactor Finally, a code is provided for 3D visualization of the density map: it is based on the SDvision software, and uses a binary .SAV file (readable through IDL) and a LUT file for the color table. The data presented here have been submitted to Science Advances for publication.
