Popis: | Preparations of Candida utilis 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase with extreme variation in carbon isotope composition have been obtained. Molecular activities, pH optima and substrate affinities of these enzyme preparations have been measured. It was observed that any effect of isotope composition on these physiologically important properties is minimal. |
