Popis: A percutaneous wire electrode has been developed which permits long-term recording of intramuscular EMG signals. The electrode consists of a small coil wound from 0.0011 inch diameter wire and filled with silicone rubber. Easily inserted by means of a hypodermic needle, it has demonstrated reliable EMG recording for periods of up to thirteen months.
