Popis: | Gastric mucin has been shown to depress host resistance to bacteria (1), fungi (2, 3) and viruses (1, 4) when given in conjunction with these agents. The following experiments were carried out to determine the effect of gastric mucin on the dermal viruses, vaccinia, herpes simplex, molluscum contagiosum and verruca vulgaris. |
