Histological study of antidiabetic activity of Zinc Oxide and Chromium oxide Nanoparticles on Alloxan induced diabetes mellitus in male albino mice (Mus musculus)

Popis: Background: As Zinc is an important element for body, it involved in many enzymes and have a role in many physiological processes; the glucose metabolism stands ahead of them. Also, chromium has been used recently as food supplement in regime systems; So, it’s important to evaluate the effects of these two elements in diabetic state and evaluate their antidiabetic ability. Methods: Seventy male adult mice were used grouped into seven groups (gr) as follow: gr1: received no treatment. gr2 received 10mg\kg body weight daily orally of ZnONPs for month. gr.3 received 1mg\kg body weight for month daily oral of CrO3NPs for month. gr4: received single dose of 150mg\kg body .
