Popis: | We identified all patients under the age of 65 dying from CAP over a 3-yr-period in hospital in our health district. Most had chronic underlying illnesses. The early management of those who had previously been in good health was studied in greater detail, and was not ideal. Recommendations have been made to try and improve the assessment and treatment of patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia. |
