Popis: | A high-yielding, temperature switchable divergent approach towards the synthesis of either spiro-indolenines or quinolines is described, starting from easily available indolyl ynones. The application of TFA at rt promotes the dearomatization of the indole, resulting in the formation of the spiro-indolenine, while at higher temperature, rearrangement results in the formation of the quinoline. crosscheck: This document is CrossCheck deposited related_data: Supplementary Information identifier: Erik Van der Eycken (ORCID) copyright_licence: The Royal Society of Chemistry has an exclusive publication licence for this journal history: Received 4 April 2017; Accepted 26 April 2017; Accepted Manuscript published 26 April 2017; Advance Article published 11 May 2017; Version of Record published 6 July 2017 ispartof: Chemical Communications vol:53 issue:55 pages:7732-7735 ispartof: location:England status: published |
