Immunological studies were carried out in 132 patients with bronchial asthma of III and IV degrees, mixed type, moderate-severe, with a controlled and poorly controlled process. Common features in the immune status were suppression of the general pool of the relative number of T-lymphocytes, T-helpers, T-suppressors, which were most pronounced in patients with uncontrolled bronchial asthma (BA). In the humoral link of immunity, an imbalance was observed, characterized by an increase in both the relative and absolute values of B lymphocytes, decreased synthesis of IgA and IgG, and increased synthesis of IgM and IgE. The parameters of innate immunity CD16 + lymphocytes, the level of fibrinogen and CRP were significantly increased in both groups of patients. The level of the studied cytokines (IL-1, IL-4, IL-6, TNF) was significantly increased in all examined patients, the most pronounced in the uncontrolled course of the disease. An analysis of sensitivity to 8 different glucocorticosteroids in the blood serum and sputum of patients with uncontrolled BA revealed persistent resistance to glucocorticosteroids in a larger number of patients. A comparative analysis of retrosternal hormone therapy and traditional hormone therapy was carried out. |
