Popis:	We report the case of a young woman with refractory thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), treated with different therapies (standard therapy with plasma exchange, prostacyclin infusion, vincristine sulfate) and responding to these for brief periods. High-dose immunoglobulin (400 mg/kg/day for 5 days), on the other hand, yielded a complete response which has lasted for 14 months up to the time of this report.
