Popis: | Acute allergic interstitial nephritis is manifested clinically by rash, fever, eosinophilia, hematuria, oliguria and azotemia. Histologically a monocytic inflammatory process in the renal interstitium is seen. The clinical course of a patient after excessive sodium cephalothin administration suggested allergic interstitial nephritis and implicates this drug as an etiologic agent. |
