Popis: | This is the second report in a project called A roadmap for academic research-intensive innovation, commissioned on behalf of the Digital Life Norway (DLN) project by the University of Oslo. The project is in three parts. The first report (labelled AS IS) discussed DLN and its context in the Norwegian research and innovation system and pinpointed issues and weaknesses in the system that could be improved to increase the innovation rate from academic research. This second report (with the working name TO BE) involves looking at and learning from good examples internationally and is intended to inform DLNs work in devising its own roadmap. A subsidiary goal is to inform relevant parts of research and innovation policy in Norway. DLN will produce a third report in the form of a road map and action plan.
