Figure S2 demonstrates that all three Akt isoforms play a critical role in MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cell proliferation and formation of tumor spheroids. Figure S3 shows that Akt2 does not play a critical role in the survival of tumor cells with wild-type PTEN. Figure S4 shows the expression and phosphorylation levels of Akt1 and Akt2 in prostate tumor cells. Figure S5 demonstrates a critical role of p21 in Akt2-mediated cell cycle progression.
