Popis: | Coupling between vibrational modes and metamaterial structures has a varied range of applications including, but not limited to, surface-enhanced vibrational spectroscopy and biological sensing. This endeavor investigates, via finite element method (FEM) and temporal coupled mode theory (TCMT), a subwavelength perfect absorbing metamaterial (PAMM) coupling to a carbon double oxygen bond (C=O) in Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) that resides at 52 THz or 1733 cm−1. |
