Popis: | Spontaneous bladder rupture is a rare condition associated with significant morbidity and mortality. We describe a case that occured following a period of alcohol intoxication and presented as acute renal failure. The factors that contribute to this condition in an intoxicated person are outlined and useful clinical markers are suggested. This case demonstrates the difficulties with diagnosis and the need for a high index of suspicion. |
