Polymorphism in Isopropyl Alcohol

Popis: Evidence for two polymorphic forms of isopropyl alcohol is presented. Three transformation reactions were observed. The transformation temperatures for pure isopropanol were 185.27(7) degrees K and 183.65(2) degrees K. The purity of the alcohol was found to be 99.98(5) percent ( calculated as moles).
