Popis: | In mathematics, there is a significant body of literature that explicates how Students of Color have consistently underperform relative to their White counterparts. There is a need to understand how the performance disparities emerged and what instructional method could assist Students of Color in mathematics learning. This review particularly examines how the prevalence of Whiteness in mathematics education can create educational barriers for Students of Colorand how culturally relevant pedagogycan reduce those barriers.
