Popis: Barium Thiourea Chloride Single Crystal was grown by slow evaporation method. The optical characterization grown crystal was carried out by the help of UV visible spectrophotometer and the band gap is calculated from tauc plot. The Raman spectra of solution grown Barium thiourea chloride (BTC) crystals were studied in the temperature range of 125K to 400K and in the wave length region of 100 to 4000 cm−1. The intensities of Raman spectra is varies with respect to temperature due to thermo sensitive C-S Band.
