Popis: Education is one of the most important issues that industrial enterprises are facing nowadays. It is essential for employees to be continually educated and education must be adapted to the needs of the enterprise and to the needs of individual employee groups. The employees are divided no only according to their functional position in the company, but also by age categories, respectively, generational groups. The goal of the age management is to manage human resources with respect to their age and potential. Age management takes into account several factors that affect the employees during their daily activities. The aim of the article is to analyse the current state of age management in industrial enterprises in Slovakia, emphasizing the importance of education of different generational groups.
