Popis: | The suitability of the ovine forestomach matrix (OFM) for the treatment of recalcitrant wounds was evaluated in 19 patients. At 12 weeks, 50% of wounds had closed, and the average reduction in surface area was 73.4%. Promising outcomes of this initial series support the clinical consideration of OFM. |
