Popis:	Hemicolpus randiae Hespenheide, new species, and H. prenai Hespenheide, new species, are described from Mexico taken from fruits of Randia sp. (Rubiaceae). Hemicolpus costaricensis Hespenheide, new species, is described from Costa Rica. The type of Hemicolpus cubicus (Lacordaire) has not been located, but Hemicolpus abdominalis Hustache is described, a syntype is illustrated, and additional distribution records are given.
