The present article discusses subjectively chosen issues like the organisational, educational, editorial and also connected with the return of Polish people (mainly refugees), efforts undertaken or continued by the Polish minority in Minsk during the existence of “Dziennik Minski”, which coincided with a period of abrupt changes in the political scene in Russia, and therefore in the capital of the Belarusian lands as well (1917–1918). The article is not intended to serve as an exhaustive analysis of the subject, but rather as a presentation of these aspects that drew the attention of the newspaper’s editors, and sometimes prompted them to issue some commentary or evaluation of the situation. |
