Popis: | A study was carried out to assess the feasibility of determing the grazing patterns of horses bimonthly via aeiral survey and standard cartographic techniques. The grazing patterns in pastures with equivalent stocking rates of horses treated bimonthly with 200 μg of ivermectin kg −1 or 10 mg of oxibendazole kg −1 was assessed using aerial survey mapping performed three times during a grazing season. The distribution patters of lawns and roughs in pastures were similar at all times during the study. Aerial survey was determined to be a very efficient and objective method of determining the composition of pastures grazed by horses. |
