Popis:	Summary Twenty-one patients with nonspecific ulcerative colitis have been treated by the adjunct of topically administered corticosteroids. The percentage of over-all good results was 78 per cent, which is no better than with many other forms of therapy in this disease. The impressive features of this therapy were the rapidity in which clinical and sigmoidoscopic remission was obtained, plus the added advantage of minimal absorption of the hormone.
