Popis: | The effects of age and renal function on the pharmacokinetics and plasma concentrations of xamoterol were examined. Peak and steady state concentrations were higher in older patients, but this was due to deterioration of renal function rather than to age itself. The dose of xamoterol only need be reduced in the elderly if there is evidence of impaired renal function. |
