Popis: A field experiment was conducted during rabi season 2015-16 at the Research Farm, R.A.K. Collage of Agriculture, Sehore (M.P) to find out the influence of herbicides on growth, yield and economics of onion. Amongst the treatments, three hand weeding at 20, 40, and 60 DAT, brought about maximum growth and yield attributing parameters with bulb yield up to 409.3 q/ha and net income up to Rs. 191341/ha. Application of Oxyfluorfen 23.5% EC (PE) + Quizal of op-ethyl 5% EC (POE) proved the best treatment among herbicides and gave equally higher bulb yield 66.7 q/ha and net income of Rs. 177,929/ha. The second-best treatment was pendimethalin 30% EC 1 Kg/ha (P.E) + quizal of op-ethyle 5% Ec 50g a.i./ha (PoE at 30 DAT) Where the bulb productivity was 350 q/ha with net income up to Rs. 167111/ha.
